Since 2006, Operation Smile has conducted medical programs in eight cities across Mexico. In 2014, a team of Mexican and international medical volunteers provided surgical procedures at our inaugural mission in Ecatepec, Estado de México. Operation Smile also opened another new site in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.
Operation Smile’s global volunteer network includes 55 medical professionals from Mexico, who donate their time in Mexico and all over the world. Since 2006, Operation Smile has provided surgical care to more than 2,200 patients in Mexico.
