Operation Smile has conducted medical programs in eight cities across Madagascar, including Eldoret, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nairobi, and Nakuru. Since 2014, Operation Smile has conducted American Heart Association trainings, as well as weekly clinics and education trainings in Nairobi.
Operation Smile’s global volunteer network includes 170 volunteers from Madagascar, who volunteer their time in Madagascar and around the world. Since 1987, Operation Smile has provided free surgical treatment in Madagascar to more than 9,100 patients born with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities.
